Notre Dame 2024 commit named one of top 10 fastest high school players

Speed kills

When [autotag]Notre Dame[/autotag] gained a commitment from 2024 Illinois wide receiver [autotag]Cam Williams[/autotag], it was seen as a huge recruiting win for the Irish.

The 6-foot, 2-inch and 190 pound pass catcher is ranked as the 9th best receiver and 34th overall prospect according to the 247Sports composite. One of the reasons why Williams is ranked so high is his in-game speed.

Williams is a burner, he’s got plenty of speed. Reel Analytics, an AI-powered sports tech and data company has been ranking the ten fastest high school athletes and found out that the Irish commit was one of them. They clocked him going 22 MPH, which is in the 97th percentile of all high school players.

It’s safe to say that the Irish are extremely excited to get him on campus and utilize that speed.
