No. 20 Texas opens up as a favorite vs. No. 11 Oklahoma State

The betting lines are quickly moving in favor of Texas.

No. 20 Texas (5-2, 3-1) rides a three-game winning streak into Stillwater this weekend for a matchup with No. 11 Oklahoma State (5-1, 2-1). This top 20 battle shapes up to have massive Big 12 Conference title implications.

Texas opened the week as a two-point favorite and is quickly watching the line grow in favor of the Longhorns. Texas currently sits at a six-point favorite over the Cowboys. ESPN’s FPI also gives Texas a narrow edge vs. Oklahoma State.

The Longhorns are coming off a tight ballgame with Iowa State. Texas forced a late fumble to escape with the 24-21 victory. Quinn Ewers threw for three touchdowns in the win.

In one of the better games of Week 7, Oklahoma State fell to TCU in overtime. The Cowboys watched a 14-point second-half lead disappear in the loss. Mike Gundy’s group looks to bounce back against the Horns at home this weekend.

The winner of this all-important Big 12 contest positions themselves in a great spot down the season’s stretch.
