The Oklahoma Sooners are looking to punch their ticket to the College World Series on Saturday in the second matchup with the UCF Golden Knights.
Hope Trautwein threw her second no-hitter of the season and Jocelyn Alo hit the 116th home run of her career to take a 1-0 series lead in their Super Regional Matchup.
As Oklahoma looks to close out the Golden Knights, they’ll likely send Nicole May to the circle in hopes of giving Jordy Bahl more time to recover from the soreness she was experiencing to close out the Big 12 season. May was 2-0 in the Norman regional, allowing zero earned runs in Oklahoma’s run-rule victories over Prairie View A&M and Texas A&M.
