The No. 1 offensive tackle in the class of 2024 has scheduled his official visit to Nebraska. Brandon Baker will be at the Cornhusker’s home opener on September 16 against Northern Illinois.

Baker is a 5-star recruit from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. He is currently ranked as one of the players in California and the No. 1 overall offensive lineman in the class of 2024.

The prospect had previously stated that if he visited Nebraska in the fall, he would push his commitment announcement to December. He’s previously talked glowingly about the support Nebraska fans have for their team.

“I really love the atmosphere, just the energy the Nebraska program brings.”

The prospect has already taken three official visits. He visited Ohio State, Texas, and Georgia in the month of June.
