Nine former Wisconsin Badgers will work out at the program’s Pro Day this week

The Wisconsin Badgers are holding their annual Pro Day on Wednesday, the event giving players a chance to work out in front of NFL scouts before April’s draft.

This year the Pro Day holds more significance than usual because there isn’t a traditional NFL Combine. The two players that were invited—LT Cole Van Lanen and CB Rachad Wildgoose—will instead attend the virtual combine and do their workouts on Wednesday.

This year is also different in that every participating senior had the opportunity to stay at school and play in 2021. While many factors weighed into each player’s decision, this won’t be the normal scene of graduated Badgers testing the NFL waters because their college careers came to an end.
