The Boston Celtics have “shown interest” in Cleveland Cavaliers forward Larry Nance Jr., according to Cleveland.com’s Chris Fedor, which should come to the surprise of no one paying close attention to the Celtics’ needs.
The Wyoming product is a versatile swing able to play up or down defensively while shooting 38.1% from 3-point range while scoring 9.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game this season. Standing at 6-foot-7, Nance is a solid example of the sort of two-way “shooting with size” team president Danny Ainge revealed the team is after on the trade market earlier this season.
