Former Ohio State and current San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa has been nominated for the NFL’s Rookie of the Year Award. Bosa has taken the league by storm after being selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
He finished the year with 47 tackles, nine sacks, two fumble recoveries, and one interception. More than anything, he remained healthy and productive all season after having struggling injuries during his career at Ohio State.
Bosa’s competition for the rookie of the year include the Raiders Josh Jacobs, A.J. Brown of the Titans, Kyler Murray of the Cardinals, and Miles Sanders of the Eagles.
