Both looked pretty significant, and now both former Ohio State players Nick Bosa and Malik Hooker appear to be out for the year though we still don’t have official word from each team.
Bosa “likely” tore the ACL in his left knee when he got tanlged up in being blocked in the game Sunday against the New York Jets. He immediately went down holding his knee and was carted off the field. Bosa is in the second year of his rookie contract after being named the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year
You can bank on him being back hopefully next year.
In Hooker’s case, he limped off the field during the game against the Vikings, headed to the locker room and never returned. It has been reported today that he suffered a torn Achilles and will have to work his way back with significant rehab. Unfortunately for Hooker, he was in the fifth-year option of his rookie contract and you have to think his time in Indy may be over.
That’s not confirmed information, just speculation.
Source: #Colts S Malik Hooker did, in fact, tear his Achilles and he’s out for the season. A tough loss to a stout Indy D.

We are still waiting on reports from three other former Ohio State players that went out with injury this weekend. The Colts’ Parris Campbell, Broncos Dre’Mont Jones, and the Packers’ Corey Linsley all went down.
