Marcus Davenport and Sheldon Rankins each pick up a sack

Davenport hasn’t recorded a sack since the last time the Saints played the Buccaneers, and it was his best game of the year. He sacked Winston twice in that game and forced a fumble out of the Buccaneers quarterback. Things have been quiet from his side of the defensive line since that game. Rankins also hasn’t sacked a quarterback since that game, an outing in which he also dropped Winston for a loss of yards. The Saints have invested a lot in each of these two players and this is a great time for them to both get back on track.
