The 40-yard dash is one of the few drills at the NFL scouting combine that fans actually pay attention to. Rightly or wrongly, 40 times end up playing a major factor when trying to separate the top prospects from one another.
On Thursday, the wide receivers took the field at the combine and we saw some impressive performances from this year’s class. Since the Falcons have just two receivers under contract (Calvin Ridley and Frank Darby) next season, expect Atlanta to address the position in the draft.
