The 49ers trailed 38-14 at home in the second half vs the Giants. Jeff Garcia and Terrell Owens mounted a comeback. Owens caught nine passes for 177 and two touchdowns. Tai Streets scored the go-ahead touchdown with a minute left. The 49ers scored 25 unanswered points and won when the Giants botched the snap on a 40-yard field goal attempt as time ran out.
