NFL fans mercilessly roasted Jack Harlow’s low-budget Thanksgiving halftime show

Everything about Jack Harlow’s halftime show SCREAMED low-budget and low-energy.

Jack Harlow, whose work I’m intimately familiar with, was the halftime performer for the Detroit Lions’ matchup with the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving. And I say “performer” in the extremely loose sense.

Amidst a holiday centered around eating and sleepiness before the evening, Harlow “serenaded” America with one of the weirdest, seemingly low-budget performances I can remember in Thanksgiving NFL history. It was legitimately baffling seeing the rapper — who, again, I know so much about — spout off low-energy verses amidst set pieces that looked like they were ripped straight out of a middle school play.

None of that statement is hyperbole, either, ladies and gentlemen. This was really bad:

Yeah, man, I don’t know. If I were the NFL, I would’ve at least sprung for a bigger budget. Or, you know, simply booked someone else! It’s that simple! Kudos to Harlow for trying his best — even if his performance mostly fell flat.
