NFL fans all made the same joke after Tom Brady threw another pick-six

Get ready for the scrutiny of what Bruce Arians has to say about Tom Brady.

Get ready for everyone to scrutinize what Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians has to say about quarterback Tom Brady after Week 4. The veteran QB threw another pick-six against the Los Angeles Chargers — his fourth pick-six in the last six games, dating to last season and his final games with the Patriots.

Brady fired (lobbed?) a ball in the direction of receiver Scotty Miller near the sideline on an out-route, but Chargers cornerback Michael Davis jumped the pass for an easy interception and a return for a touchdown. It was eerily similar to another pick-six Brady threw earlier this season — New Orleans Saints cornerback Janoris Jenkins intercepted Brady for a touchdown in Week 1.

With Brady throwing his fourth interception of the season, NFL fans began to make jokes about Jameis Winston, who infamously threw 30 interceptions with the Bucs in 2019. Brady, who has an average salary of $25 million, replaced Winston, who is making $1.1 million this year with Saints.

The comparison isn’t fair. Brady is throwing an interception percentage of 3.1 while Winston finished 2019 at 4.8. But still, NFL fans enjoyed the low-hanging fruit with posts on Twitter.

Brady will be fine. We’re pretty sure of it.
