With very little left to look forward to in the sports world over the next few weeks, football fans have kept their fingers crossed in hopes that the NFL Draft will still take place as planned in Las Vegas.
With the CDC recommending limited crowd sizes as the Coronavirus pandemic spreads, the league announced that the draft will still take place, however, the event will be closed to the public.
The draft is still scheduled to happen April 23-25, the NFL announced on Monday. It will be televised.

How the NFL will fill the void left by no public fanfare is unclear at this point, as the league stated, “the NFL is exploring innovative options for how to handle the process.”
Georgia is expected to be well represented in April’s draft, with anywhere from 5-8 players expected to hear their names called.
