The newest Madden 21 ratings are out and the most noticeable change among Raiders players is probably the rating of tight end Darren Waller. What’s notable is he’s finally rated around where he should be.

Waller gets a 91 overall rating in the new Madden 21 ratings, putting him as the third highest rated tight end in the league behind only Travis Kelce (98) and George Kittle (97).

Back in July when the rating first came out, Waller got a disrespectful 85 rating, which was tied for 10th in the league.

Being third among tight ends is far more accurate for a player who had the second most catches and yards among tight ends last season.

Waller gets the highest speed rating among tight ends (90) and his 97 catching rating is second only to Tyler Higbee (98). Elite speed and hands. That’s more like it.

Waller’s 91 rating is tied with Josh Jacobs for second highest on the Raiders team behind only Rodney Hudson (93).
