In one of seven MLS games on Saturday, New England Revolution (12 wins, 3 losses, 4 draws) travel further south to take on Toronto FC (3-9-6) at BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.
This match will feature the best team in the East against the worst. Currently, in first place, the Revolution have been rolling lately.
They’re unbeaten in their last six, having won five of them. Oddly enough, their last loss was to Toronto FC. The Revolution have the most goals in the MLS, led by Argentinian F Gustavo Bou, who has 11.
As for Toronto FC, they have 23 goals on the season with 16 of them being by a different player. That said, despite sitting at the bottom of the conference, they’ve lost just one of their last seven games.

Prediction
New England Revolution 3, Toronto FC 1
Money line (ML)
BET on NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION (+150) despite them being away from their home field. Taking to the road actually gives favorable odds for New England.
They’ve recently brought back all their Gold Cup players including starting GK Matt Turner. Having won the bulk of their games and being red hot as of late, I’d expect the Revolution to once again handle business.
Even on the road, New England has won five of 10 matches. As for Toronto, they’re not much better at home, losing seven of 10, although that should be discounted for them not actually playing in Canada for most of the season.
New England attack should prevail against the worst defenses in the league. I wouldn’t expect Toronto to put up three goals on a New England side that has given up 22 in 19 matches this season.
Over/Under (O/U)
“LEAN” to the OVER 2.5 (-180) although the value isn’t great. Given Toronto’s defensive woes all season long, betting the Over 3.5 (+135) could also be an interesting play. The odds at 3.5 are the exact same just flipped.
The last time these two teams met, the final score was 3-2 Toronto. Toronto has, by far, the worst defense in the East. They’ve allowed 38 goals in 18 matches. No other team has topped 30.
They’ve scored, and their scoring is diverse. Along with a dynamic New England offense, expect a plethora of goals in this match. The Over 2.5 should be an easy bet with 3.5 being a riskier option.
