The New England Revolution (10 wins, 4 losses, 7 draws) welcome the Atlanta United (9-5-8) to Gillette Stadium Wednesday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET (Apple TV). Below, we preview BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the New England Revolution vs. Atlanta United odds, and make our best expert MLS picks and predictions.

The Revs are 7-0-3 at home this season, 1 of just 2 teams to have an unbeaten home record (FC Cincinnati the other). The Revolution lost 2-1 to the NY Red Bulls on the road on Saturday. It was their 1st loss since May 20, having been 3-0-4 in their 7 games prior. New England’s 36 goals are the 3rd-most in the East and it  is led by F Carles Gil and F Bobby Wood, each with 7 goals.

The United also have a dynamic offense, ranking 2nd in the East with 40 goals (Columbus has 43). Atlanta is 2-4-5 on the road this season. It has won 3 of its last 5 games and is coming off a 1-0 road victory over CF Montreal. United has been led by Greek F Giorgos Giakoumakis, who has 10 goals in 16 starts.

New England Revolution vs. Atlanta United picks and predictions

Prediction

New England Revolution 1, Atlanta United 1

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+270).

Simply put, the Revolution, despite this recent hot streak, have still played at the level of competition their opponent is at. The Revs have drawn 4 of their last 8 matches. They have had fewer expected goals in 3 games as well, 1 of them being at home.

Atlanta United has won 3 of their last 5 and have drawn 5 of their last 9. Atlanta has drawn 5 of 11 road matches. Couple both teams having been prone to this result in this scenario and take DRAW (+270).

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (+125).

United’s offense has been on fire for spurts this season, but they haven’t performed that well as of late. United has averaged 1 goal per game over their last 3 and has had fewer than 1 expected goal in 3 of their last 4 matches. They have also had 3 clean sheets in their last 6 games and have held their opponent to 1.1 expected goals or fewer in 5 straight matches.

New England is a similar story. Despite having averaged 1.6 goals per game over its last 3, it has had fewer than 1.0 expected goals in 3 straight games. It has also allowed 1 or 0 goals in 4 of its last 6 games.

Both teams have a strong offense, but they haven’t played up to par as of late. For that reason, take the UNDER 2.5 (+125).

FC Cincinnati vs. New England Revolution odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s FC Cincinnati vs. New England Revolution odds and lines, with expert MLS picks, predictions and best bets.

FC Cincinnati (13 wins, 2 losses, 4 draws) welcomes the New England Revolution (10-3-6) to TQL Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET (Apple TV). Below, we preview BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the FC Cincinnati vs. New England Revolution odds, and make our best expert MLS picks and predictions.

FC Cincinnati is perfect at home with a 10-0-0 record. However, it was destroyed in its last time on the pitch, a 3-0 loss Saturday to D.C. United at Audi Field. FCC has won 7 of its last 9 matches this season. It is led by M Luciano Acosta, who has scored 9 goals this season.

The Revolution are 3-3 on the road this season and are coming off a 2-1 win at home against Toronto FC. They have won 3 straight games, all at home, while drawing the 2 road matches prior to those. They are led by F Carles Gil and F Bobby Wood, both with 7 goals.

FC Cincinnati vs. New England Revolution picks and predictions

Prediction

FC Cincinnati 1, New England Revolution 1

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+260).

FC Cincinnati will be without F Brandon Vazquez, who scored the equalizing goal against Jamaica for the USMNT, and key D Matt Miazga. Both of those players have been pivotal for FCC’s success.

Despite its success at home, FCC has struggled on the road, and it will be facing a surging Revolution side that was the best team in the Eastern Conference in 2021.

New England has had more expected goals than its opponent in 3 of its last 6 road matches this season as well. Considering its recent success and recent surge, take a DRAW(+260).

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (+105).

The Revolution have tightened up their play defensively lately, allowing just 3 goals in their last 4 matches. They allow just 1.21 goals per game. FCC, on the other hand, won’t have a key scorer and has among the best defenses in the MLS, allowing multiple goals in just 4 games this season. It has allowed multiple goals just once at home this season.

Both FCC and New England rank in the top 3 in save percentage, so the keepers have been strong this season. Both teams also rank in the bottom half of the league in goals allowed. Considering the strong defenses, take UNDER 2.5 (+100).

New England Revolution vs. FC Cincinnati odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s New England Revolution vs. FC Cincinnati odds and lines, with expert MLS picks, predictions and best bets.

The New England Revolution (6 wins, 1 loss, 2 draws) welcome FC Cincinnati (6-1-2) to Gillette Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we preview BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the New England Revolution vs. FC Cincinnati odds, and make our best expert MLS picks and predictions.

FC Cincinnati is a perfect 5-0-0 at home but just 1-1-2 on the road. It defeated Louisville City 1-0 in a U.S. Open Cup match Wednesday and picked up a 2-1 win over Portland at home in MLS action last Saturday. FCC has won 4 of its last 5 MLS games and is led offensively by F Sergio Santos, who has 4 goals on the season.

The Revolution are 4-0-1 at home this season. They have scored 15 goals and have allowed a mere 8 on the season. New England is just 2-0-2 over its last 4 games and is led in scoring by F Giacomo Vrioni, who has 3 goals on the season. Four other players have scored at least twice this season.

New England Revolution vs. FC Cincinnati  picks and predictions

Prediction

New England Revolution 1, FC Cincinnati 1

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+240).

The Revs have drawn 2 of their last 4 games and have finished within .3 expected goals of their opponent in 4 of their last 6 outings.

They have consistently played to the level of their opponent but have been able to squeak out wins. FCC has drawn 2 of 4 road games and has been within .6 expected goals in all 4 road matches.

Couple it all and take the DRAW (+240).

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (-105).

Both teams are tied at the top of the Eastern Conference because of their defense.

FCC is allowing just 1.11 goals per game and has 5 clean sheets. It has allowed 0 or 1 goal in all but 2 games this season. FCC’s offense hasn’t been dynamic either as it has scored 0 or 1 in all but 3 games.

The Revs have a top-tier defense as well and have allowed just 2 goals in 5 home games and have allowed more than 1 goal just once all season.

Ultimately, considering both teams’ defensive strength, back the UNDER 2.5 (-105).

Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution odds and lines, with expert MLS picks, predictions and best bets.

The Columbus Crew (4 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw) welcome the New England Revolution (5-1-1) to Lower.com Field on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we preview BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution odds, and make our best expert MLS picks and predictions.

The Crew sit 4th in the Eastern Conference with 13 total points after a 2-0 road victory against D.C. United last week. They found the back of the net twice on just 5 shots on goal while also giving up 5 shots on goal. The Crew lead the league with just 5 offsides called on them this season, a metric that will surely benefit them on the attack. They have scored a league-leading 17 goals and only conceded 8.

New England ranks 2nd in the Eastern Conference with 16 points after a 4-0 win last week versus Montreal. It was pure domination with the Revolution offense having 19 shots and 9 shots on target while the defense conceded just 9 shots and 3 on target. They kept the game relatively clean as well with just 7 fouls and 0 yellow cards while Montreal committed 14 fouls and received 4 yellows. Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution picks and predictions

Prediction

Crew 2, Revolution 2

Moneyline (ML)

SPRINKLE DRAW (+240)

In 3 of their last 4 games, the Revolution have been within .2 of their expected goals of their opponent. While both teams have high-powered offenses, their defenses seem to concede a lot of goals. This match between 2 upper-level Eastern Conference opponents should contain a lot of action resulting in both teams sticking even with each other.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET OVER 2.5 (-125).

The Crew rank 1st in the MLS this season with 17 goals scored and 2.4 goals per game. They are tied for 1st with New England for 1.3 second-half goals per game. They have hit over 2.5 goals in 3 of their last 4 games and have scored 12 goals in their last 3 games including 10 goals in their last 2 home games.

The Revolution netted 4 goals in their last game and have hit over 2.5 goals in 4 of their last 6 games. They also rank 6th in the MLS in goals per game (1.7).

Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution odds and lines, with MLS picks and predictions.

The Columbus Crew (7 wins, 5 losses, 8 draws) host the New England Revolution (6-7-7) at Lower.com Field Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

The Crew are coming into this game off a win over their rival FC Cincinnati. Columbus won 2-0 and remain at home for a 2nd straight game. The Crew are 4-0-4 over their last 8 games, their last loss coming May 21.

Columbus is led in scoring by 2021 All-Star M Lucas Zelarayán and F Derrick Etienne who are tied for a team-high 5 goals. Both also have 5 assists on the season.

The Revolution finished atop the Eastern Conference last season but have struggled in 2022. New England has lost 2 straight outings against top East foes, Philadelphia and NYCFC. The Revolution hadn’t lost since April 23 prior to those losses, however.

The Revs are led by stars F Gustavo Bou and F Adam Buksa who are tied for a team-high 7 goals, while M Carles Gil leads the team in goals plus assists with 10. New England is just 2-5-3 on the road.

Prediction

Columbus Crew 1, New England Revolution 1

Money line (ML)

LEAN DRAW (+255).

This is a strong bet given the value. Both teams have been draw-heavy sides so far this season, and this has all the makings of a high-level matchup between conference foes.

Columbus has drawn 4 of its last 7 matches overall and has drawn 2 of its last 3 home matches as well. The Revolution have drawn 3 of their last 6 contests and 6 of their last 11 games overall.

These two sides rank 2nd and 3rd in draws in the East respectively. Both teams have under a 6-goal goal differential, so they also haven’t been winning or losing by large margins.

Expect a close battle and play the draw in this one.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (+110).

These two teams drew 2-2 earlier in the season with 3 of the 4 goals coming within the last 20 minutes. For the bulk of the game, the defenses held strong. There were 4 goals and 5 shots on target.

The Crew have typically been a slow-paced team, scoring 27 goals and allowing 22 through 20 matches. They’re 11-9 O/U on a 2.5 goal total.

Columbus has also allowed the 9th-fewest shots on goal which should help to limit a lethal New England attack. Both teams also rank in the top half of the league in passing accuracy, so don’t expect many errors.

Considering Columbus’ strengths and how the last match between these sides was played, I’ll take the Under 2.5 (+115).

New England Revolution vs. Columbus Crew odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s New England Revolution vs. Columbus Crew odds and lines, with MLS picks and predictions.

The New England Revolution (3 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw) host the Columbus Crew (3-3-3) Saturday. Kickoff from Gillette Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the New England Revolution vs. Columbus Crew odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

After an atrocious 1-4-1 start to the season, the Revolution have played much better lately, 2-1-0 in their last 3. New England is led by M Carles Gil and F Adam Buksa, both with 3 goals scored.

The Revolution have scored 14 goals in their 9 games and allowed 16. Their 14 goals scored ranks 5th in the Eastern Conference. They currently sit 10th on the East table.

The Crew snapped a 4-game scoreless streak with a 3-0 home win over D.C. United. The Crew are 1-3-1 in their last 5 games and have drawn 3 of their 4 road games.

Columbus is led by 2021 All-Star M Lucas Zelarayán, who has 4 goals in 7 starts. The Crew have scored 13 goals and given up just 9, the fourth-fewest goals allowed in the East. They currently sit in 7th place.

New England Revolution vs. Columbus Crew odds, lines, picks and predictions

  • Money line: New England -106 (bet $100 to win $106) | Columbus +285 (bet $100 to win $285) | Draw +265
  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: -117 | U: -103)

[tipico]

Prediction

New England 1, Columbus 1

Money line (ML)

LEAN to the DRAW +265.

The Crew haven’t necessarily been their typical top-tier club this season, but they have managed to hang with opponents. They’re tied for the second-most draws in the East and have drawn 3 of 4 road games.

The Revolution lost F Tajon Buchanan who was key in producing goal-scoring opportunities last season. F Gustavo Bou also hasn’t played up to last season’s level yet.

The regression set to happen for New England was obvious. This should be a high-competitive battle, one that could end in a draw. It’s risky, but at this value, it’s worth a small unit.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET the UNDER 2.5 (-103).

The Crew scored 3 goals last game against Minnesota United, but had just 1.3 expected goals.

They had gone under 2.5 goals in the previous 5 games and were held without a goal in 4 of them. Columbus may have run it up on United, the club last on the East table, but its core offensive issues are still there.

As for the Revolution, they’ll be taking on a defense that’s allowing just a goal per game. Its lone battle with an East team that’s allowed single-digit goals resulted in a 1-0 home loss to the New York Red Bulls.

Given the Crew’s dominant defense, having allowed just 2 multi-goal games, it wouldn’t be shocking to see New England struggle to get shots on target.

FC Cincinnati at New England Revolution odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s FC Cincinnati at New England Revolution odds and lines, with MLS picks and predictions.

In Saturday’s MLS action, FC Cincinnati (3 wins, 7 losses, 8 draws) travel to meet the New England Revolution (14-3-4). Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the FC Cincinnati vs. New England Revolution odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

FC Cincinnati has been a draw machine lately playing to a scoreless tie in three of the past four while posting a 1-1 draw against Orlando City Aug. 8.

The Revs have rattled off three consecutive victories, and the table toppers in the Eastern Conference have won seven of the past eight matches with one draw.

The last time these squads met, New England scratched out a 1-0 win May 29, in southern Ohio.

Prediction

New England Revolution 2, FC Cincinnati 0

Money line (ML)

The New England Revolution (-260) should be able to win this one, but there is no value risking more than two-and-a-half times your potential return. Instead, NEW ENGLAND -1 (+100) is a much more attractive play on the 3-way line.

Over/Under (O/U)

The play is UNDER 2.5 (+135) is a strong value in Foxboro, Mass., Saturday night.

FC Cincinnati’s modus operandi is to slow down play and bore the other side to death with suffocating defense. It works – playing to three scoreless draws in the past four.

However, it won’t work against the first-place Revs. New England will get it done on its home pitch, and it won’t be distracted by the approaching Tropical Storm Henri, which has been the talk of the region.

Analyzing Wednesday’s D.C. United at New England Revolution odds and lines, with MLS picks and predictions.

In one of many MLS games Wednesday, D.C. United (8 wins, 8 losses, 3 draws) travel north to take on the New England Revolution (13-3-4) at Gillette Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the D.C. United vs. New England Revolution odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

New England is coming into this match as the top-ranked Eastern Conference side. The Revolution sit 12 points higher than second-place New York City FC.

With the second-leading goal scorer in MLS, F Gustavo Bou, leading the way, New England will prepare for a tough matchup against a strong United side led by F Ola Kamara, who is tied for third in goals in MLS.

United is sixth in the conference. However, they’re just 2-6-3 on the road, so the success away from home, where they’ve won six of eight games, just hasn’t been there.

Money line (ML)

BET on the NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION -130. They’re 7-1-1 at home.

On a similar note, United is far worse on the road with 18 of their 27 points coming at home.

The Revolution won six of their last seven matches, and there’s no denying they’re the clear and obvious favorite in this one. It’d be shocking to even see a tie.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the OVER 2.5 (-145) as both sides have one of the league’s top goal scorers.

Kamara vs. Bou will be thrilling to watch. The two combine for 23 goals, and their teams have thrived due to their attacking prowess.

The Revolution are the top offense in the East with United having the fourth-most goals. Both defenses have also given up more than 20 goals.

The Revolution have combined for 3 or more goals in five of their last six matches. United have a similar story as they hit the Over in each of their last three matches.

New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC odds and lines, with MLS picks and predictions.

In one of seven MLS games on Saturday, New England Revolution (12 wins, 3 losses, 4 draws) travel further south to take on Toronto FC (3-9-6) at BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

This match will feature the best team in the East against the worst. Currently, in first place, the Revolution have been rolling lately.

They’re unbeaten in their last six, having won five of them. Oddly enough, their last loss was to Toronto FC. The Revolution have the most goals in the MLS, led by Argentinian F Gustavo Bou, who has 11.

As for Toronto FC, they have 23 goals on the season with 16 of them being by a different player. That said, despite sitting at the bottom of the conference, they’ve lost just one of their last seven games.

Prediction

New England Revolution 3, Toronto FC 1

Money line (ML)

BET on NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION (+150) despite them being away from their home field. Taking to the road actually gives favorable odds for New England.

They’ve recently brought back all their Gold Cup players including starting GK Matt Turner. Having won the bulk of their games and being red hot as of late, I’d expect the Revolution to once again handle business.

Even on the road, New England has won five of 10 matches. As for Toronto, they’re not much better at home, losing seven of 10, although that should be discounted for them not actually playing in Canada for most of the season.

New England attack should prevail against the worst defenses in the league. I wouldn’t expect Toronto to put up three goals on a New England side that has given up 22 in 19 matches this season.

Over/Under (O/U)

“LEAN” to the OVER 2.5 (-180) although the value isn’t great. Given Toronto’s defensive woes all season long, betting the Over 3.5 (+135) could also be an interesting play. The odds at 3.5 are the exact same just flipped.

The last time these two teams met, the final score was 3-2 Toronto. Toronto has, by far, the worst defense in the East. They’ve allowed 38 goals in 18 matches. No other team has topped 30.

They’ve scored, and their scoring is diverse. Along with a dynamic New England offense, expect a plethora of goals in this match. The Over 2.5 should be an easy bet with 3.5 being a riskier option.

Philadelphia Union at New England Revolution odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Sunday’s Philadelphia Union vs. New England Revolution odds and lines, with MLS picks and predictions.

In a clash between two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, Philadelphia Union (7 wins, 4 losses, 7 draws) travel north to take on New England Revolution (11-3-4) at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the Philadelphia Union vs. New England Revolution odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

With all players back from Gold Cup and Olympic action both teams should be at full strength. Following the return of several players, the Revolution drew Nashville. They’ve won four of their last five.

The Union are 2-1-2 in their last five. They are coming off a strong midweek performance against Toronto FC that they won 3-0.

The Union have welcomed back many players over the last few weeks that were in action with the Jamaican National Team and have returned to their standard of play with them in the lineup.

Prediction

New England Revolution 2, Philadelphia Union 1

Money line (ML)

BET on NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION (-120) as they’ve been dominant at home this season. New England has won six of eight home games.

Flip the sides, and the Union really haven’t played well on the road this season. They’ve managed to get draws often, but they’ve won just two of nine on the road.

Additionally, the Revolution are playing very well as of late and they should be able to get the job done. The two sides drew 1-1 in Philadelphia earlier in the season.

The only match the Revolution have played against a top-three team in the East they won. I expect another strong showing from the side currently sitting atop the conference.

Over/Under (O/U)

“LEAN” to the OVER 2.5 (-160) as New England has the best offense in the MLS and Philadelphia is also rolling. The Union put three in the back of the net against a conference-worst Toronto defense.

The Over has hit in three of the Union’s last five matches. While they typically have a strong defense it doesn’t always hold up against better sides which was shown as they lost 2-1 to Orlando City.

The Revolution and their opponent have combined for 2 or more goals in eight of their last 10 matches. They’re tied with Sporting KC for the most goals in the MLS.
