Nets coach Steve Nash headlines Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame inductees

Steve Nash has been inducted into the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame after earning himself two-MVPs and a plethora of NBA honors.

Before joining the Brooklyn Nets as head coach, Steve Nash was a highly successful NBA player who’s finally getting some of his earned retributions: a Hall of Fame nod.

The Canadian Basketball Foundation announced the Hall of Fame inductees for both the 2021 and 2022 classes on Twitter earlier this week.

Two-time MVP Steve Nash is the most iconic player on this list as he’s the most decorated basketball player in Canada’s history. Nash represented Canada as a member of their national team for ten years and led them to their last Olympic qualification.

The athletes will be honored in Toronto at basketball event GLOBL JAM. Candidates will be honored with a lunch and inducted officially into the Canadian Hall of Fame.

The event will take place on June 10th.
