NCAA releases top sixteen tournament seeds status. Where is Ohio State?

The NCAA Tournament selection committee released its status of the top 16 seeds, and Ohio State is high among them, but how high?

To this point, we’ve seen a glut of NCAA Tournament projections from those that know a lot about the process, but aren’t necessarily a part of the process. It’s what bracketology is all about. All of those have had Ohio State either as a No. 1 or No. 2 seed as of late, but they are just opinion.

Now, we have the top sixteen seeds being communicated by the organization that really matters, the NCAA selection committee. And yeah, seems the NCAA agrees as well that the Buckeyes are deserving of an extremely high seed, and in fact, have them as one of four No. 1 seeds as things stand today.

The other No. 1 seeds include Gonzaga, Baylor, and Michigan.

The rest of the top four seeds in each region can be seen in the tweet below shared by the NCAA March Madness Twitter account.

Now, before you get too excited, there’s still a lot of season to play and a slew of ranked teams Ohio State still has to get through in order to keep that No. 1 seed status.
