NCAA Extends Recruitng Dead Period Through June

The NCAA extended their recruiting dead period again on Wednesday, this time through June. What happens now? Your guess is as good as mine

If you were looking for good news from the NCAA in terms of things carrying on and getting back to normal, Wednesday was a bad day for you as the organization announced that the D-I recruiting dead period that has been in place since March has now been extended through all of June.

June had become a hot-spot for official visits and commitments across the college sports landscape but the visit part of that clearly won’t be happening this year.

Another key part of June on the football calendar in terms of recruiting are the annual summer camps that have all now been cancelled as well.

Could official visit move back to July or August now, provided the dead period lifts after June?  I can sit and pretend to know but like almost everything else in regards to college sports, specifically football right now, your guess is as good as anyones,
