NBA Twitter reacts to Steph Curry’s 33 point performance in Warriors’ win vs. Jazz

After the Splash Brothers combined for 12 3-pointers to lead the Warriors past the Jazz, NBA Twitter chimed in with different reactions.

The Golden State Warriors’ record fell under .500 with a loss on the road to the Detroit Pistons in late October. Since then, the Warriors have struggled to get back to .500. After winning three of their last four games, the Warriors had the opportunity to get to the .500 mark on the season with a victory over the Utah Jazz on Friday night at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

With the chance to get back to .500, Steph Curry handled business. The reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player led the Warriors to a much-needed 129-118 win over the Jazz with a game-high 33 points on 13-of-23 shooting from the field to go along with five boards and four assists in 36 minutes.

Curry and his fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson each drilled six triples to combine for 12 made 3-pointers against the Jazz. All six of Thompson’s 3-pointers came in the second half to slam the door on any chance of a comeback from the Jazz.

Kevon Looney registered his first double-double of the season for the Warriors, tallying 10 points and 12 rebounds in 28 minutes against the Jazz.

Lauri Markkanen continued his breakout campaign for the Jazz with 24 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field with five made 3-pointers to go along with six boards in 37 minutes.

With a win over the Jazz, the Warriors have now recorded eight straight victories in a row at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

Following Golden State’s win against Utah, the NBA community on Twitter chimed in with different reactions on social media. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Friday night.
