NBA Playoffs: Former Warrior Andre Iguodala plays 26 minutes off bench in Heat’s game four loss vs. Bucks, 120-103

With the Golden State Warriors punching an early ticket to the offseason after a pair of losses in the Western Conference play-in tournament, Warriors Wire is checking in on former members of Golden State across the 2021 edition of the NBA postseason.

In the opening round of the playoffs, Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant and Miami Heat forward Andre Iguodala lead a featured group of former Warriors trying to get back to the NBA Finals with new teams. Former Warriors DeMarcus Cousins, Alec Burks and JaVale McGee will also be in action during the 2021 playoffs.

Here is a look at how Iguodala performed during game four between the No. 6 seed Miami Heat and No. 3 Milwaukee Bucks.

Eastern Conference Round 1, Game 4: Bucks (3-0) at Heat: 

After three games, the defending Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat faced a must-win situation in the opening round, with the Milwaukee Bucks leading the series 3-0. 

With the opportunity for a sweep, the Bucks didn’t miss. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Bryn Forbes all tallied over 20 points to end the Heat’s campaign and punch a ticket in the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. 

Lopez scored a game-high 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the floor while Antetokounmpo and Middleton each registered double-doubles. 

In his final game of the season, former Warrior Andre Iguodala notched eight points on 3-of-5 shooting from the field with a pair of triples in 26 minutes off the bench for the Heat. The veteran added three assists, three steals and two boards in a losing effort.

As the Heat enter the offseason, the Bucks will await their second-round opponent coming off a dominant sweep.
