NBA playoffs: Former Vols’ May 3 results

Three former Vols competed in the NBA playoffs Wednesday.

Grant Williams played 29 minutes for No. 2 Boston in its 121-87 victory over third-seeded Philadelphia in the second round of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs.

Williams did not start and totaled 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal. He was 4-for-8 in field goal attempts, all three-point field goals.

Tobias Harris started for the 76ers and played 33 minutes. He recorded 16 points and seven rebounds.

Harris was 7-for-12 field goal attempts and 2-for-5 in three-point attempts.

Jaden Springer did not start for Philadelphia and played 10 minutes, recording three points and one block.

He was 1-for-1 in field goal attempts and 1-for-2 in free throw attempts.

The series is tied, 1-1.
