NBA Fans are saying James Harden was right about Giannis Antetokounmpo having ‘no skill’

What Harden said is still questionable, but Giannis has to be better.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and James Harden have had beef for a while. There’s no love lost between these two. We don’t really know where it started, but we know it exists.

We also know when it hit its peak. Harden took offense when he was asked about a joke Antetokounmpo made about his game during the All-Star draft about taking someone who would actually pass the ball and not James Harden.

In turn, Harden said the he wished he could just be a 7-footer who just ran and dunked and said it took “no skill” to do, which was very clearly a shot at Antetokounmpo.

Now that the Bucks are down 3-0 to the Miami Heat and the NBA’s best team is probably going to be out of the playoffs soon, NBA fans are saying he was right.

Yikes. Talk about a heel turn for Giannis.

Now, here’s the thing. The league MVP is averaging 22.7 points, 13.3 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game in the series but fans are asking for more. And that’s totally understandable.

Those are big numbers, but he can clearly play better. He’s played better before against the Heat. And there’s no way his team should be down 3-0.

Saying Harden was right is definitely a stretch —Antetokounmpo clearly has skill. But he also has to be better. That’s the bottom line. Until he is, narratives like this can live on.
