NBA All-Star Game 2022: Captains, starters revealed after fan voting

The NBA on Thursday unveiled the captains and starters from each conference for the 2022 NBA All-Star Game.

On Thursday, the NBA unveiled the captains and starters from each conference for the 2022 NBA All-Star Game set to take place on Feb. 20 from Cleveland, Ohio.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James led all players in fan voting to represent the Western Conference while Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant finished as the leader from the Eastern Conference. They will serve as the two captains for the All-Star Game draft.

All-Star voting ran through Jan. 22 as fans accounted for 50% of the vote to determine the five starters from each conference. Current players and a panel of media members accounted for 25% of the vote each. Voters selected three frontcourt players and two guards on each ballot.

The reserves from each conference will be announced on TNT on Feb. 3.
