Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry and Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant lead the Western and Eastern Conferences in the first batch of returns in the 2022 NBA All-Star Game fan voting.
All-Star voting kicked off on Christmas Day and will run through Jan. 22 with fans accounting for 50% of the vote to determine the five starters from each conference. All current players and a panel of media members will each account for 25% of the vote.
Curry led all Western Conference guards in voting while LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers led the frontcourt players. In the Eastern Conference, Durant paced the frontcourt players in votes while Chicago Bulls veteran DeMar DeRozan led the guards.
The initial voting results featured no first-year players.

The All-Star Game this year will be held on Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. EST in Cleveland to commemorate the 75th season of the NBA. The event was last held in Cleveland in 1999 when the league celebrated its 50th anniversary season.
The rosters will once again be will be drafted by the two captains, who will be the starter from each conference that receives the most fan votes. They will choose from the player pool voted as starters and reserves regardless of conference affiliation.
TNT will reveal the NBA All-Star Game starters on Thursday, Jan. 27.
