Five-star defensive end prospect LaDamion Guyton is projected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs football program. Rivals ranks Guyton as the No. 1 recruit in the country.

Guyton is a member of the class of 2027, which means he is just a sophomore in high school. The five-star recruit is already turning heads due to his impressive combination of size and explosiveness.

Guyton plays football for Savannah Christian Prep in Savannah, Georgia. Guyton is the No. 1 recruit in Georgia and the top defensive end prospect in the nation.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound edge rusher is projected to commit to the University of Georgia, according to 247Sports. Guyton received a scholarship offer from Georgia in June 2023.

Guyton is high school teammates with another five-star defensive end, Elijah Griffin, who is a member of the class of 2025. Griffin is also projected to commit to Georgia.

Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia do not have any commitments from recruits in the class of 2027. The Bulldogs have 21 commitments in the 2025 cycle. UGA’s class of 2025 ranks as the No. 5 recruiting class in the country.

Guyton may just be a sophomore, but he already looks the part. Here’s a look at one of his sacks during the 2024 high school football season.
