Unlike Phoenix, Bristol was anything but simple, with extreme tire wear being a significant factor.
At the end of the day, Denny Hamlin beat Martin Truex Jr. for his first win of the 2024 season at Bristol on Sunday afternoon. After a slight overview of the notable moments, here are the NASCAR TV ratings following the Food City 500 at Bristol.

NASCAR and FOX earned 3.809 million average viewers for the Food City 500 at Bristol, up 10% from the spring race at Bristol in 2023. Last year, the race was held on the dirt track, so it appears that fans and new fans were excited for the return of a second pavement event. Overall, this is another big jump and one that NASCAR and FOX should love.
Now, the Cup Series is focusing its attention on Circuit of the Americas, as the sixth official weekend of the 2024 NASCAR season will soon be underway.
