NASCAR entry lists at COTA, notable entries for Cup, Xfinity, and Truck

Check out NASCAR’s entry lists for this weekend at Circuit of the Americas, including notable entries in Cup, Xfinity, and Truck.

NASCAR is fresh off a shocking weekend of racing at Bristol Motor Speedway, where the sport saw Denny Hamlin survive the extreme tire wear en route to this first win of the 2024 season. Now, the racing series is set for Circuit of the Americas. All NASCAR levels will participate on track, so let’s take a closer look at the entry lists released for COTA.

In the Cup Series, there are several changes compared to last week. A.J. Allmendinger (No. 13 car) Shane Van Gisbergen (No. 16 car) will drive for Kaulig Racing. Meanwhile, Kamui Kobayashi (No. 50 car for 23XI Racing) and Timmy Hill (No. 66 car for MBM Motorsports) make their season debuts. The event is scheduled to have 39 entries.

The Xfinity Series also features experienced drivers. Kyle Larson will drive the No. 17 car for Hendrick Motorsports, while Ty Gibbs pilots the No. 19 car for Joe Gibbs Racing. Other notable entries include Ty Dillon (JDM Motorsports), Ed Jones (Sam Hunt Racing), Kaz Grala (RSS Racing), and Brad Perez (Alpha Prime Racing). There are 40 entries, so two drivers will miss the show.

Finally, the Truck Series sees an influx of new faces. Jack Hawksworth will drive the No. 1 truck for TRICON Garage, while Marco Andretti pilots the No. 04 truck for Roper Racing. Also, Carter Fartuch (Reaume Brothers Racing) and Ross Chastain (Niece Motorsports) will make their season debuts. Overall, no one will miss the race with 36 entries at COTA.

The race weekend in Circuit of the Americas will begin on Friday, March 22. NASCAR is officially back on a road course, and everyone is looking forward to the racing this weekend.
