Multiple starters out for Clemson’s matchup with Notre Dame

Clemson will miss multiple starters for their home matchup against Notre Dame.

Dabo Swinney and the Tigers have a massive matchup today against Notre Dame, and it is a game where they will be without six starters.

A lot of injuries for the Tigers; it is not a great time to be without starters on either side of the ball. The offense can’t afford to lose much more, and the defense missing some veterans is a major blow.

On offense, offensive linemen Marcus Tate and running back Will Shipley are both out. According to reports, starting quarterback Cade Klubnik is expected to play, though he is banged up.

On defense, safeties Jalyn Phillips and Sherrod Covil Jr., defensive end Justin Mascoll, and cornerback Sheridan Jones are all out as well. Clemson will have their work cut out for them without some key players today.
