The Philadelphia 76ers have been successful in the 2021-22 season mostly due to the elite play of Joel Embiid. The big fella has thrown the Sixers on his back on a nightly basis as he has been a huge reason why the team is still a title contender in the East.
The big fella led the league in scoring with 30.6 points per game and he has averaged 11.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists a night. He also shot 49.9% from the floor and 37.1% from deep as a 7-footer facing a lot of heavy defenses.
On top of that, Embiid has been there for his team playing in a career-high 68 games after playing in only 51 in each of the previous two seasons while also playing a career-high 33.8 minutes per night. He has done a great job of taking care of his body.
