One of the Spartans’ top commits in the 2024 class has picked up a ton of attention on the recruiting trail in the past week.
The Mel Tucker saga has left many (including myself) wondering what will happen to the Spartans’ 2024 recruiting class, and it’s clear that Michigan State’s commits are starting to get attention from other programs. That is especially clear with offensive lineman Andrew “AJ” Dennis of Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
In the past week, Dennis has picked up offers from Penn State, Nebraska, Auburn, Stanford and Georgia Tech. As of right now, Dennis is still committed to Michigan State but its apparent that other teams are trying to change that.

Dennis is a four-star prospect and ranked as the No. 194 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2024 class. He’s also listed as the No. 9 interior offensive lineman and No. 4 player from Michigan.
Dennis has been a rising star in the 2024 class, and is hopefully someone the Spartans can keep committed. We will have to keep a close eye on his recruitment moving forward.
