Mountain West Postpones Media Days

Following other leagues, MW pushes back media days.

Awards will still be handed out.

The Mountain West has followed the steps of the Pac-12, BYU, and the ACC in which they are postponing their football media days. The league already moved away from in-person meetings to a virtual setting, but with games being canceled and the season in jeopardy, there is too much uncertainty for the upcoming season.

The league lost 15 total games from the Big Ten and Pac-12 going to conference-only games. Showing up to media days, all of the questions would be focused on asking the coaches and the league about how they are to fill out the schedule, and a whole lot about COVID-19 in regards to the upcoming season.

There is no word on when or if the media days will be rescheduled but with the season scheduled to begin in about six weeks, and there may not be time for media days to actually happen.

If you are a betting person, lean toward there not being a Mountain West media day.
