With the 59th pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings selected LSU guard [autotag]Ed Ingram[/autotag]. He was a projected third-rounder by most mock drafts, but the Vikings pulled the trigger on him in the second round to try and get some protection for their quarterback, Kurt Cousins.
Ingram was a four-year starter on the offensive line for the Tigers. He appeared in 45 games, starting 34 times. His starts came at left guard (22) and right guard (12). He was named second-team All-SEC by the SEC Coaches in 2021 and invited to participate in the Senior Bowl.
Ingram graduated from LSU in May of 2021 with a degree in sports administration. Last season, he played and started 11 games, all at left guard as he logged 811 offensive snaps and played every offensive snap in the final nine games in which he appeared.
