Michigan State could be close to landing three-star offensive tackle Ryan Baer of Eastlake, Ohio.
On Wednesday, three different 247Sports recruiting experts — Corey Robinson, Justin Thind and Stephen Brooks — submitted crystal ball predictions for Michigan State to get a commitment from Baer.

Baer is listed as the No. 38 offensive tackle and No. 365 overall prospect in the 2022 class by 247Sports. He narrowed his final list down to five schools last week, with Michigan State, Pitt, Illinois, Virginia and Kentucky still in the running.
At this point, it is uncertain when Baer plans to announce his commitment but it sounds like the Spartans are the new favorites to land his talents.
