Michigan State football releases official statement on Alante Brown’s injury

MSU has released an official statement surrounding the Alante Brown situation:

There was a great deal of controversy during Michigan State’s win over Central Michigan surrounding Nebraska transfer wide receiver Alante Brown.

On the first play of the game, Brown suffered a brutal looking head injury that almost surely was a concussion, judging from the naked eye. After getting carted out on a stretcher, Brown returned to the sideline for a kickoff later in the half before being seen in street clothes in the second half.

With the concern of head injuries, a lot of discourse came about from Brown’s situation, which the MSU athletic health staff responded to:
