One week ago, Mississippi State linebacker Aaron Brule announced that he was entering the NCAA transfer portal. Today, he is a Spartan, committing to Michigan State football on Twitter.
Brule, a former 3-star safety, has become one of the better linebackers in the SEC and some thought, before this past season, that he could make the jump to the NFL sooner rather than later. A down season halted that decision, but he will get a fresh start with another MSU team that has turned to the transfer portal to fill out their depth at the linebacker position.
Brule joins Jacoby Windmon from UNLV as new additions to the roster.
Blood in my eyes and my palms sweaty.
