One of the top kickers of the 2020 recruiting class will be leaving Michigan State. On Sunday, MSU football scholarship kicker Jack Olsen entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Olsen is the nineteenth Spartan to enter the transfer portal since the fall. Conversely, Tucker has had fourteen players commit to joining the program in that time.
Olsen was in line to take over the kicking role for Matt Coghlin, but the Spartans’ long-time kicker decided to use his extra year of eligibility granted due to the pandemic to return for the 2021 season.
Olsen was a top-5 ranked kicker in his class.
