A third member of the 2022 Michigan State football team has been selected in the 2023 NFL draft, and it’s the second Spartan to be drafted by the Patriots, both in the sixth round, as the New England Patriots drafted Ameer Speed, a cornerback for the Spartans, with the No. 214 overall pick in the draft.
Speed, a transfer cornerback from Georgia, had a bit of an up-and-down year, but has NFL size and speed and should be a nice pickup for the Patriots.
