The exodus of Penn State players continues and Michigan State basketball has interest in at least one player transferring from the program. According to a report from Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers, the Spartans are in touch with former Penn State forward John Harrar.
Harrar averaged 8.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game this season. At 6 feet, 9 inches and 240 pounds, Harrar could provide Izzo some additional size to his front court next season, and Izzo loves veteran bigs.
Harrar was a two-star recruit out of high school, but he has been able to assert himself as a strong rotation player in a tough Big Ten Conference.
Penn State transfer John Harrar has heard from Maryland, Miami, Providence, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Tennessee, NC State, Louisville, Michigan State, Xavier, Georgetown, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and others, @AscensionSport1 told @Stockrisers.
