After suffering their first loss in conference play, Michigan State basketball has fallen four spots in the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports, down to No. 13 overall.

Quite frankly, this loss was a long time coming, with the Spartans winning games despite some glaring flaws, namely related to turnovers but also general physicality, rebounding, etc. Now, Izzo has something to point to while he tries to hopefully fix those issues.

The Spartans will have six days to prepare for Friday’s game at Wisconsin.
