Michigan football makes cut for 2025 4-star QB

Nice to make the early cut for a good quarterback! #GoBlue

Michigan appears to be in good hands when it comes to the quarterback position in the near future.

Of course, the Wolverines have J.J. McCarthy at the helm for at least this year and maybe next. If McCarthy enters the NFL draft after this season, Michigan has five-star Jadyn Davis coming in as a 2024 recruit who would have a chance to start next season.

It’s always important to find a good gun-slinger in every recruiting class and Michigan has a few it’s looking at in the 2025 class. The Wolverines are in the mix for five-star quarterbacks Bryce Underwood and George MacIntyre.

The Wolverines have also made the early cut for 2025 four-star QB Cutter Boley. He put Michigan in his top 10 on Friday among nine other schools.

Boley hails from Lexington (Kentucky) Lexington Christian Academy. He has great size, standing at 6 feet, 5 inches. On the 247Sports composite, he is the 72nd-ranked prospect and the sixth-best quarterback in 2025.

There is one crystal ball placed on Boley; it has him headed to Kentucky. But 247Sports indicates he has warm interest in Florida State, Kentucky and Penn State.
