The Miami Dolphins are a little less than an hour and a half from kickoff, and we now know which Dolphins on the 53-man roster will not be suiting up for today’s game. The Dolphins shared the inactives list approximately 90 minutes before kickoff in Week 11.

The inactive list features little in the way of surprises this week. The Dolphins will undoubtedly enjoy the return of running back Matt Breida — and as a result, Miami will not be dressing RB DeAndre Washington, who the Dolphins secured at the 2020 NFL trade deadline from the Kansas City Chiefs. How the Dolphins ultimately split the carries between Breida and Salvon Ahmed is yet to be determined, but Miami will look to get the run game alive even without the availability of FB Chandler Cox against a porous Broncos defense.

The Dolphins will also be without rookie wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr, who the team traded for at the start of the 2020 season. Bowden Jr’s absence bodes well for the play and role of rookie receiver Malcolm Perry; Perry has slowly and steadily begun to command a significant supporting role on the Dolphins’ offense. Perry will work predominantly from the slot, but can also serve as the triggerman for Miami’s Wildcat package: both roles that we’ve seen from Bowden Jr. this season as well.

The Dolphins kickoff from Denver at 4:05 PM EST in search of their 6th straight win. We now know who they’ll have at their disposal as they try to get the job done.
