Beyonce could literally take a video of her breathing and the internet would go crazy. She’s just…Beyonce. That’s how this thing works.
But when you add Megan Thee Stallion to the equation and put the two on a song together? Nah, the internet is done for. It’s cooked.
That’s what happened yesterday. We were just minding our business when, all of a sudden, Beyonce and Meg decided to break Twitter by dropping a “Savage” remix.
The song was already a viral sensation because of the TikTok dance that it came with. But once Beyonce hopped on the track? It took things to another level.
Their song took over the internet yesterday and hasn’t stopped since. People are still going crazy over it.

Fam, there’s already a TikTok dance for this thing. It ain’t even been 24 hours. The girl who made the original Savage dance did her thing for the remix.

Unbelievable. All everyone wants to know is when we’ll all finally be able to turn up at the first function to this song. Fall 2021, I guess? Get them knees ready.
Before I turn in…
1. I get so much joy from @theestallion. #ChooseJoy
2. Meg’s remix w/ Beyoncé was exactly what I needed today.
3. I’ve been working out my knees during this quarantine. So looking fwd to the first turn-up post COVID. (If/when that ever happens.)

The best part? Proceeds from the track’s streams reportedly are going to charity. In an Instagram post, Meg said all proceeds go to Bread of Life Houston where families are being provided meals during the pandemic.
Shoutout to Beyonce and Meg for putting their collective foot on our necks and on coronavirus at the same time. We stan our pandemic fighting queens. In all seriousness, salute to them for making the internet a brighter place for a while in the middle of all this madness. We really needed this moment.
