McCourty brothers to reunite for Patriots’ preseason games

The McCourty brothers are giving Patriots fans an alternative way of viewing the preseason.

Former New England Patriots defensive backs Devin and Jason McCourty are going from the football field to the broadcast booth together to cover the Patriots’ preseason games.

They will host “The McCourty TwinCast” as an alternate way of watching the preseason. The show will be available on Patriots.com and WBZ.com.

Both brothers have had experience in media following their retirements. Devin most recently appeared on NBC’s pregame coverage of Sunday Night Football. Meanwhile, Jason takes the morning shift, as one of the hosts of “Good Morning Football” on the NFL Network. He also provides analysis for particular NFL broadcasts.

This will be an intriguing twist on the game, as both McCourty brothers played pivotal roles for New England during their time with the team. Devin retired this past March, after 14 seasons with the Patriots.

The debut for the program is slated to begin on Thursday, Aug. 10, when the Patriots face the Houston Texans in their preseason opener.
