LSU-Vanderbilt: Four things to know ahead of the game

LSU hasn’t lost in Nashville since 1990. Coming off a crushing loss, the Tigers face a Vanderbilt team that could impress for another week.

LSU opens as a 20-point favorite

The Tigers open as a 20-point favorite against the Commodores. Last week, LSU was a double digit favorite against Mississippi State and lost by 10 at home.

Not to say that Vanderbilt will cover the spread, but this week could be the game that the Tigers pull together and have one of their best games from a statistics standpoint of the 2020 season.

Coming off a crushing loss could put Tigers quarterback Myles Brennan in a position to fix his mistakes and show the world why he was so hyped up coming out of high school.
