It was tempting to acknowledge Eason here, as he had yet another big day, but that would have been too easy.
Pinson has been the definition of an x-factor for Will Wade’s group. There’s a noticeable difference in how LSU has played with Pinson as opposed to without him.
Pinson didn’t light up the scoreboard today, but much of the offense flowed through him.
Pinson had eight assists on Saturday. A pivotal one coming when he found Days near the rim in overtime when LSU needed a bucket.
Pinson added five steals on the defensive end. As usual, LSU relied on creating turnovers to win this game, and Pinson helped them get there.
