LSU survives overtime against Alabama, who stood out for the Tigers?

Which LSU Tigers stood out in the win over Alabama.

Star 2: Brandon Murray

LSU has missed a pure scorer from the jump this season. It’s an offense that has had to rely on fast-break points and grinding out possessions. LSU has lacked a guy who can just go get buckets.

Murray has been the closes thing LSU has had to that “bucket getter.”

Murray set a career-high when facing Alabama in January with 19.

Murray was active on defense in overtime, playing good off-ball defense while also making a play at the rim, coming up with a big block to keep the game tied early in the period.

It was Murray that sent the pass to Eason for the go-head bucket in the final minute.

He finished the game with 17 points, just shy of that career-high he set in the first meeting.
