LSU stays put in US LBM Coaches Poll after championship weekend

It was a chaotic conference championship weekend in college football.

Championship weekend is in the books, and the College Football Playoff field is set.

We saw quite a bit of chaos, particularly in the SEC as Alabama stunned Georgia in the conference title game, ending the Bulldogs’ 29-game winnings streak and knocking them out of the CFP final four.

With that win, Alabama and Texas climbed into the playoff, while undefeated Florida State was left out after beating Louisville to win the ACC championship, albeit in lackluster fashion with a third-string quarterback.

The US LBM Coaches Poll following championship weekend featured a ton of movement in the top 10, but unfortunately for LSU, none of that impacted the Tigers, who are holding firm.

Here’s the full top 25 following the conference championships.
