LSU rises in US LBM Coaches Poll after surviving against Missouri

The Tigers are starting to climb their way back up the rankings after Saturday’s win.

Once again, it wasn’t the prettiest performance on Saturday for LSU, particularly defensively.

Coach Brian Kelly’s team found itself facing another early deficit and eventual shootout, but this time, the defensive unit made enough plays — namely a pair of timely interceptions — to get the win.

At 4-2, the Tigers still only have outside playoff hopes and likely can’t afford another slipup if they want to win the SEC West. They are, however, moving up three spots in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll.
